Waterfront Park does not place tentative holds on event dates. Our booking process is designed to ensure that the venue and services are properly matched to your event before a commitment is made.

Following your venue visit, you will receive an Event Intake Form to provide the details and requirements for your event. Once completed, we will prepare an initial assessment, which serves as the starting point for planning your event.

If you wish to proceed, we will then move to the contract and booking stage, where the event date, venue, and selected services can be formally confirmed.

Yes. Waterfront Park has a spacious 200 car parking lot with free parking.

No, we are a private venue owned by the Shriners of Southern Alberta. We are a full-service venue. This means all catering, beverage, service staff and floral work is managed by the venue. We have a team of coordinators ready to help you put on a memorable event and by keeping most of our services in house this allows us maximum quality control.

All food and beverage services at Waterfront Park are handled exclusively by Simply Elegant Catering. If you require special food items our Catering Coordinators would be happy to customize some options.

It is possible but must be discussed prior due to the nature of the venue our event staff manages all set up and tear down of décor and florals. Typically, access to the venue starts two hours prior to guest arrival.

Waterfront Park is a collection of venues within the same property. We have the capacity to run multiple events at a time, in the same way a hotel does. Each room is equipped with its own washrooms, kitchen, bar, and service staff.

Pets are welcome outside but must be leashed and in control at all times. Some cultural events do not allow animals at any time. Please be respectful of others.
