Inside, the Fireside Lounge provides a warm, inviting atmosphere anchored by a gorgeous 8′ copper fireplace. It’s an unforgettable Calgary venue for weddings, private parties, and corporate events where guests can enjoy sumptuous food, delightful flowers, and creative decor.

Your rental includes exclusive use of the outdoor terrace. It provides a seamless indoor-outdoor flow so your guests can take full advantage of the amazing views.

Your up to 12-hour rental at Waterfront Park includes a venue host for up to 8 hours, setup and tear down, a cleaning fee, and the use of the terrace as an outdoor component. You also get full use of the Fireside Lounge with its gorgeous 8′ copper fireplace, on-site tables and chairs (including highchairs), and a coat check room.

Can we have our catering provided by an outside company?

No, all catering, décor, and additional labour are exclusively supplied by Simply Elegant. These services are an additional price beyond the baseline venue rental, ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for your event.

How many guests can this space accommodate?

The Valleyview Terrace can accommodate a maximum capacity of 125 people for a sit-down dinner. The minimum recommended capacity for this space starts at 50 guests. If you are planning a different style of event, such as a cocktail reception, please reach out to us during the inquiry process to discuss custom floor plans.
